Hacedores CDMX
The First Maker Fair in Mexico City.

Identity, communication, space and signage design.
Mexico | 2014

In collaboration with:
Laboratorio para la Ciudad

Temporary makerspace, workshops, talks, exhibition spaces and a log of makers of the local maker culture.

In order to capture and take advantage of citizen talent to prototype and experiment with solutions that improve the conditions of everyone in the city.

One goal was to articulate the maker movement in Mexico City with the initiatives of different profiles evidencing the broad culture of makers in the city (from engineers, academics and interactive artists, to those who work in informality or with other types of manual production and craftsmanship).

Some of the people who were part of the program:
-David Cuartielles, co-founder of Arduino.
-Paola Antonelli, design curator at MoMA.
-Emeka Okafor, founder of maker faire Africa.
